John Bunyan’s Biography
John Bunyan (1628–1688) was an English writer and Puritan preacher, best known for his Christian allegory, The Pilgrim’s Progress. Born in Elstow, Bedfordshire, he had a humble upbringing and became a preacher after a spiritual awakening, facing imprisonment for his beliefs, during which he wrote many influential works, including his autobiography, Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners.
